Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 17th July 2025

I want everyone who visits my website to feel welcome and find the experience straightforward, regardless of ability or technology.

Commitment to Accessibility

This website has been designed with accessibility in mind. I am committed to making it as accessible and user-friendly as possible, so that all visitors - including those with disabilities - can access the information they need with ease and dignity.

What I'm Doing

To support accessibility, I aim to:

  • Use clear, simple language

  • Maintain good colour contrast and legible font sizes

  • Ensure the website is navigable by keyboard

  • Provide meaningful page structure using headings and landmarks

  • Use descriptive alt text for all essential images

  • Make sure links and buttons are clearly labelled

  • Ensure the website is responsive and usable on all devices

This website is intended to meet at least WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards wherever possible.

Limitations

While I aim to ensure accessibility for all users, some older third-party content or embedded media (e.g. video players, maps) may not yet fully meet these standards.

If you encounter any barriers or have difficulty using any part of the site, please let me know - I’m here to help and will do my best to offer the information or support you need.
